About Our Church?

FBC Bemis Church History

Vision Statement
We will consistently seek to grow in our love for the Lord Jesus and to make that love evident to the world around by our worship of the one true God, loving fellowship with each other, growing in our knowledge of Scripture and walking accordingly, ministering to the needs of the ‘body’ of believers both spiritually and physically, and to make Him known by proclaiming the saving gospel of Jesus Christ as the only way for a fulfilled life and home in heaven.

GLOBAL MISSION OFFERING
Just a reminder that our Global Mission Offering will be the 2nd Sunday in December! Be saving your loose change and putting back money to give to this offering. We take up one big offering a year instead of a bunch of offerings during the year

OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD
NOVEMBER 13TH - 20TH

It will be here before you know it! We have been told that they will not be accepting candy or toothpaste this year so if you have already started gathering stuff remember not to buy these things.
We’ll be signing up soon!

Church Membership
There are three ways to become a member of
First Baptist Church, Bemis.

  •  By Baptism—asking Jesus to save you and following through with baptism.
  • By Letter—if you are a Christian and your membership is within a church of like faith and order.
  •  By Statement—this is when a church letter is lost, and membership is received upon the person’s own statement of faith, baptism and church membership.

COMFORTERS
COMFORTERS need more ladies to help make comforters for hospice patients. If interested, please come 2nd and/or 4th Thursday at 9:00 and bring your lunch. The rest is easy and fun.
