FBC Bemis Church History

Vision Statement
We will consistently seek to grow in our love for the Lord Jesus and to make that love evident to the world around by our worship of the one true God, loving fellowship with each other, growing in our knowledge of Scripture and walking accordingly, ministering to the needs of the ‘body’ of believers both spiritually and physically, and to make Him known by proclaiming the saving gospel of Jesus Christ as the only way for a fulfilled life and home in heaven.

Gene Laster
Gene has been a member of First Baptist Bemis since May of 2015. He is a professional Videographer specializing in the Legal Field. He and his wife, Judy, will be married 57 years in October. She is a Court Reporter for the State of Tennessee covering Criminal Court. They have three children and five grandchildren. You can contact him at 731-663 -9757 or 731-617-1610.

Titus 2 Women’s Ministry
Do you have wheelchairs, power chairs, rollator walkers, quad canes, crutches, commode chairs, shower benches, hospital beds, hospital mattresses, hoyer lifts and chairs, portable ramps, augmentation communication devices, vision devices such as magnifiers, reading glasses, or talking watches that are in need of a home? The STAR Center accepts used, working items, which they pass on to people who either cannot afford it, or do not have insurance to cover it.
Feel free to bring your items to the church and place them in the designated foyer area. For items to be picked up – just give me a shout or contact the church office (731-427-5505).
