About Our Church?

FBC Bemis Church History

Vision Statement
We will consistently seek to grow in our love for the Lord Jesus and to make that love evident to the world around by our worship of the one true God, loving fellowship with each other, growing in our knowledge of Scripture and walking accordingly, ministering to the needs of the ‘body’ of believers both spiritually and physically, and to make Him known by proclaiming the saving gospel of Jesus Christ as the only way for a fulfilled life and home in heaven.

Church Membership
There are three ways to become a member of
First Baptist Church, Bemis.

  •  By Baptism—asking Jesus to save you and following through with baptism.
  • By Letter—if you are a Christian and your membership is within a church of like faith and order.
  •  By Statement—this is when a church letter is lost, and membership is received upon the person’s own statement of faith, baptism and church membership.

The Special Christmas Comforters on display throughout the church today will soon be on their way to hospice patients. Every year we make special ones for the month of December. Thank you to so many of you who donate your time, your talents, supplies and monetary gifts. You are helping to warm the hearts of many families. Please keep them all in your prayers.

Christmas Luncheon is Dec. 14th at noon.
