Sunday morning Jason Cagle, son of the pastor at Malesus Baptist Church, received the annual Mitchell Scholarship in the amount of $5,000.00. On hand to present the award was Garney Scott and his wife, Carolyn Mitchell Scott.
Also present were Jim Mitchell and his wife.

COMFORTERS will have a work session on Thursday from 9:00 – 1:30. We are enjoying new volunteers helping to make these “gifts of love” for hospice patients. If you would like to come, just bring your lunch and scissors and be ready for some great fellowship. Just park in back and come in the little kitchen door which leads to Herron Hall.
So far this year, 205 patients have received one of our comforters.
