About Our Church?

FBC Bemis Church History

Vision Statement
We will consistently seek to grow in our love for the Lord Jesus and to make that love evident to the world around by our worship of the one true God, loving fellowship with each other, growing in our knowledge of Scripture and walking accordingly, ministering to the needs of the ‘body’ of believers both spiritually and physically, and to make Him known by proclaiming the saving gospel of Jesus Christ as the only way for a fulfilled life and home in heaven.

Sermon Notes: May 20, 2018
“OWN YOUR OUTLOOK”
PHILIPPIANS 1:24-26

I. B YOUR BATTLES.
II. E YOUR ENDURANCE.
III. S YOUR SAVIOR.
IV. T YOUR TEMPLE

Happy Mother's Day 2018!

M-O-T-H-E-R
"M" is for the million things she gave me,
"O" means only that she's growing old,
"T" is for the tears she shed to save me,
"H" is for her heart of purest gold;
"E" is for her eyes, with love-light shining,
"R" means right, and right she'll always be,
Put them all together, they spell "MOTHER,"
A word that means the world to me

Church Membership
There are three ways to become a member of
First Baptist Church, Bemis.

-By Baptism—asking Jesus to save you and following through with baptism.

-By Letter—if you are a Christian and your membership is within a church of like faith and order.

-By Statement—this is when a church letter is lost, and membership is received upon the person’s own statement of faith, baptism and church membership.
