FBC Bemis Church History

Vision Statement
We will consistently seek to grow in our love for the Lord Jesus and to make that love evident to the world around by our worship of the one true God, loving fellowship with each other, growing in our knowledge of Scripture and walking accordingly, ministering to the needs of the ‘body’ of believers both spiritually and physically, and to make Him known by proclaiming the saving gospel of Jesus Christ as the only way for a fulfilled life and home in heaven.

Bible Study Sunday
Today (September 25, 2016) during our Discipleship Training we will begin our new study “Read the Bible for Life,” by Dr. George Guthrie. This book was written to help you learn how to read the Bible more effectively, in a way that produces real fruit in you life. Over the next several weeks we will explore the dynamics of listening, understanding, and responding to God’s Word. We will examine the different types of literature found in the Bible so that we can read them in accordance with God’s intention. We will consider how the various books of the Bible fit into the ongoing story of God and His people, and we will discuss ways to purposefully apply Bible reading in our everyday lives.” - - Lifeway

Steve Chipman will be the teacher. Books are $11.99. It’s not to late to join in this Bible Study. Books are still available. See Steve Chipman or Bro. John if you need a book.
